Low voltage drives give high performance
Extra low voltage servo drives comprise the control electronics and power stage integrated into a synchronous servo motor to offers cost/technology advantages.
Lenze 'fluxxtorque' extra low voltage servo drives comprise the control electronics and power stage integrated into a synchronous servo motor. Models are available for 24 and 42V DC supplies suiting safety zones such as found with medical equipment and areas with potentially explosive dust. The fluxxtorque system offers outstanding advantages in terms of technology and cost in decentralised network operations.
Servo motors with integrated drives are available at 140 and 170W suiting supplies of 24 or 42V DC.
This gives nominal torques of 0.45 and 0.8Nm, but the high performance servo drive can deliver peak torques 600% higher.
Communication options are CAN, PROFIBUS and RS232.
The smooth bodied motors require no fan cooling and are enclosed to IP55.
Resolver feedback is standard and a holding brake can be specified.
The decentralised concept of fluxxtorque gives savings in construction cost, not least in the control panel where space requirements are eliminated.
Standard cables can be used to power the drives which comply to EN55011 class A requirements.
