New SEPA Database Recognizes Commercial Solar Systems
The Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA) recently announced the development of a new database, known as the Commercial Solar Electric Installation Inventory, that aims to "provide information on commercial, industrial, institutional and utility owned or sited solar electric systems and...recognize the leadership of those companies that have chosen to run their facilities using solar electric power."
According to SEPA, the database will compile submissions from both the U.S. and abroad, "recording installations to measure progress against the SEPA objective of increasing the penetration of on-grid and off-grid use of solar electric power."
SEPA said it is currently collecting information for the database online at http://www.solarelectricpower.org/installation_inventory. The association noted that it "reserves the right to delete or modify information submitted if SEPA finds it to be inaccurate."
