German solar power interest Sunways AG recently announced it has entered into a cooperation agreement with Unaxis Balzers AG, a leader in the area of vacuum coating and the manufacture of vacuum coating production equipment.

According to Sunways, the goal of the agreement is to jointly construct a production unit for the manufacture of solar cells based on thin-film technology within two years.
